DUBAI: Abu Dhabi’s sovereign fund Mubadala will not change its investment strategy in 2022, keeping a focus on renewables, technology, and life sciences, its CEO Khaldoon Khalifa Al-Mubarak said.
The Mubadala chief noted some challenges in the short-term, including inflation that is “creeping in many places,” he said speaking as part of a panel at the ongoing Global Manufacturing and Industrial Summit in Dubai.
But Al-Mubarak said there will be “no shift in terms of our strategy” in 2022, expecting stronger liquidity globally as economies come out of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Abu Dhabi fund, which manages $243 billion in assets, plays an important role in the UAE capital’s push to diversify its income sources away from oil.
